Millions and millions of glyphs have been generated by Superpolator2. From small sketches trying to establish the basic proportions of new type, to production runs of large families with big character sets.
First Superpolator was just a Python package without interface. In 2007 I released the first app version Superpolator, but the second release of the code, hence “2”. At the 2012 Robothon I presented the ideas and some sketches for Superpolator3.
That means Superpolator2 is about to retire. Its code is old and creaky. It resists new features. It has an alternative.
Thanks for using Sp2!
